Balenciaga GWP: Free Tiny First/Tiny City bag Charms!

Balenciaga is currently offering free Tiny Firsts and Tiny City bag charms for everyone who buys a Classic/Giant 12/Giant 21 Arena bag from their online site! I must say that this is one of the most generous GWPs (Gift With Purchase) I’ve seen a designer do, since these tiny babies cost a couple hundred dollars a pop at retail, plus they’re seasonal. What’s better than a Balenciaga bag? A Balenciaga with a tiny Balenciaga bag hanging off of it, of course!

Kate Spade Friends and Family Sale April 8-9th 2011

Exactly what the picture says: the Kate Spade Friends and Family Sale is currently going on, and entering the code FFSPR11 gets you 25% off your purchase online. Now if you’ll excuse me, it’s back to the Kate Spade site for me – I know, I’m such a good blogger, interrupting my own shopping to let you guys in on the sale…

Kate Spade Roundup

I’ve come to quite like Kate Spade, because how do you not like a designer who believes that “everything is better with a touch of whimsy and a dash of delight”? In fashion terms it means Kate Spade does lots of bright colors, stripes, ribbons, polka dots and whatnot, all of which I love, and these are my current likes from the Kate Spade Online Store:

Glori heels, available for purchase here. $325

These are the Kate Spade Glori shoes, and I think they’re extremely aptly named because I swear I saw these and thought, “Oh, Glory…!” I know this is the 3rd peeptoe platform heel I’ve shown you in a row, after the Nicholas Kirkwood and Forever 21 pairs (which just goes to show how peeptoe platforms can look so different!), but this shade of blue satin alone makes this shoe worthy of attention. These have a 4″ heel, and the structured bow, delicate T-bar and entwined ankle strap make this a very feminine, classy shoe.

Giada slingbacks, available for purchase here. $175

This Giada slingback is probably my favorite pick from the Kate Spade website, because I absolutely love the combination of velvet, bows and crystals on a shoe. I feel like everyone has been doing shoes with a smattering of crystals on them since D&G’s suede Swarovskis in 2009, but I love shiny things so I’m not complaining! These Kate Spade shoes have a 4″ satin heel, with a sprinkling of crystals over the plush velvet upper. As you can see in the side view, the upper also has a very nice scalloped trim, and the bow at the toes is the perfect finishing touch! These are currently on sale for $175, down from $350 too, so if you like them get them while they’re still around!

Randi boots, available for purchase here. $125

If you’re the type of girl who isn’t going to let rain and puddles stop you from looking good (and assuming you like pink!) then these Randi boots are perfect. Kate Spade calls this shade “lipstick pink”, and although I’m not likely to ever buy lipstick in this shade I would be very likely to wear boots like this out! Despite being made of rubber, these boots look better than a lot of other boots currently out there walking the streets, and the 2″ heel and puddle-ready rubber ribbon will brighten up any gloomy rainy day!

Wish wedges, available for purchase here. $225

These are Kate Spade’s Wish wedges, and the only reason I can think of is that they make me wish Summer were here! I absolutely love candy cane stripes, even though / especially because these are done in pink and white! These are pink shoes with a bow on them, so I don’t really need to say anymore do I?

Earmuffs and iPhone cases I thought were cute 🙂 Kate Spade also offers free ground shipping for all orders, so go take a look 😉

Burberry Prorsum Womenswear Autumn/Winter 2011 Live Stream

It’s the LONDON FASHION WEEK time of the year now folks, and the Burberry Prorsum Womenswear Autumn/Winter 2011 Collection will be streaming LIVE Monday 21st Feb, 8AM PST/11AM EST on the Burberry site here! Coats and bags will also be available for online purchase after the show ends til Sunday, 27th Feb. One good thing about high fashion always being seasons ahead is that if you order quick enough, you’ll be able to wear your new coat while it’s still one winter early 😉

Lady Gaga Grammys Fashion 2011

I’m sure this is just a precursor to whatever she’ll be wearing later, but I’ve just seen a picture of what Lady Gaga wore to the Grammys red carpet, and…

She’s an egg, folks. Or rather, she’s in a womb, complete with all that nasty-looking fluid inside. I guess this might be some sort of publicity stunt for her new song, Born This Way, but then again with Lady Gaga who knows?? Maybe she’ll even hatch out of it at her performance later.

Modcloth Pencil Me In flats

These Modcloth Pencil Me In flats will make it look like you’re wearing pencils on your feet! I think they’re ridiculously cute, though I’m sure many of you might just think they look ridiculous! If you can’t wait to buy a pair I’m afraid you’ll have to wait, as these are currently out of stock in every size, which you know, means that they’re either very popular or Modcloth only made 5 thinking they won’t sell. You can, however, head over to Modcloth and get notified on restock, and these flats will be yours at $97.99.

Kurt Geiger Shoe Sale

The Kurt Geiger sale is on, and clicking this link will bring you right to the Women’s Sale section, where shoes are up to 75% off! The site crashed yesterday from the sheer amount of traffic from women who just wanted to buy shoes (myself included), but it’s back up and running today so buy yours while you can (but leave some in my size…)!

Some of my picks:

Evita, available in black and pink. The black is sold out in everything except Euro 41, and it’s only during shoe sales that I find myself wishing I were all sorts of different shoe sizes. Like right now, I wish I were a Euro 41…

Ediva, which is thankfully available in my size! I love black and white shoes, and KG manages to contrast both colours beautifully. I also love the delicate T-bar, structured black-and-white bow and front pleating.

Eden 2, which is a gorgeous shade of pink and cream! Was £70, now only £39 too.

Angelica by Carvela. I love the ridiculously high platform, and the deep blue is stunning.

Arrogant, also by Carvela. I love lace shoes, and it’s hard to find a pair with the right proportion of lace to beige undertones that also isn’t too shiny-looking and cheap. This is a really pretty pair, and I love the triple alternating platform of lace and black.

Clearly I belong in the high-platform-skinny-heel camp, and I’m off to nab as many of those as I can! Enjoy the sale 🙂
